About the Campus Registrar’s Office
The Office of the Campus Registrar is a top and strategic arm of the Asante Mampong Campus of the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED), serving under the Principal of the Campus in managing Campus administration, and offering the appropriate support for policy implementation while maintaining informed administrative trends to ensure ongoing service improvement.
The Campus Registrar is appointed by the Vice-Chancellor of the University. He/she is a member of the Campus Management team, who serves as the Chief Administrative Officer responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Campus, per the policy directives of the University Management.
The Campus Registrar as the Chief Operating Officer of the Campus, also performs the following functions but are not limited to:
- serving as the Chief Advisor to the Principal.
- facilitating communication and relationships between administrative units and academic faculties in cooperation with faculty officers.
- preparing and submitting quarterly reports to the Registrar on the administrative operations of the Offices in the Campus Registrar’s Department.
- Serving as the Chairman for the Registrars’ and Associates meetings
- Serving as the Returning Officer for University elections
- The Campus Registrar performs any other functions as may be assigned by the University Management or delegated by the principal
- The Campus Registrar is also assisted by Administrators made up of Deputy Registrars, Senior Assistant Registrars, Assistant Registrars, Junior Assistant, Technical, and Professional staff who help in the discharge of other delegated duties.
