BRIEF BIOGRAPHY
Christopher M. Owusu-Ansah is a Senior Assistant Librarian at the College of Agriculture Education of the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development in Ghana. He holds a PhD in Information Science from the University of South Africa where he is also a Research Fellow. He is also a Senior Lecturer (part-time) at the College where he teaches Information Literacy. His research interests include digital libraries in distance education, information behaviour, and social media applications in information seeking contexts.
SUMMARY OF ROLE
As the Head of Library at the College of Agriculture Education of the University, among others, I have oversight responsibility for management and administration of the College Library. I also supervise the Library’s operational units and their staff. My role also involves the implementation of approved policies, and initiating same for efficient academic library services.
