FACULTY OF EDUCATION AND GENERAL STUDIES HOLDS AN INTERNSHIP WORKSHOP FOR LEVEL 400 INTERNSHIP STUDENTS

To better equip Level 400 students going on internships for the 2022/2023 academic year, the Faculty of Education and General Studies has organized a two-day internship workshop at the Library Auditorium. The two-day workshop which commenced on 25th January 2023, was largely attended by students and faculty members.

In his welcome address, the Ag. Dean of the Faculty of Education and General Studies, Rev. Dr. George Oduro-Okyireh, explained to participants the purpose of the workshop. He urged the students to go out there and exhibit good morals and to be exemplary ambassadors for AAMUSTED-M.

The Ag. Head of Educational Studies Department, Dr. Jacob Manu, Dr. Jacob Manu briefed the students on the various guidelines for the internship programme. He reiterated the importance of students registering for the semester, as that begins the first stages of their internship.

Mr. Eric Twum Ampofo provided an informative presentation on the New Internship Record Book, while Mr. Robert Ampomah and Mr. Samuel Amoh Gyampo gave presentations on Lesson Plan Preparation and Portfolio Building.

The workshop was a great success, providing the students with the necessary tools and knowledge to make the most of their internship programme.
