Mr. Richard Kwadwo Mprah

Mr. Richard Kwadwo Mprah attended T. I. Ahmadiyya Secondary School, Kumasi, from 1989 to 1996, for his ordinary and advanced level certificates and proceeded to the University of Cape Coast, where he obtained a Bachelor of Education in Social Science. He holds two (2) Masters’ degrees in Human Rights and Public Sector Management from the University of Education (UEW), and Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) respectively.

Profile

Mr. Richard K. Mprah joined the service of the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) erstwhile University of Education, Winneba (UEW) in October 2002 as a Senior Administrative Assistant, and rose through the ranks becoming Assistant Registrar (Examination and Student Records Unit; Human Resource Department; Acting Head of Human Resource Department); Senior Assistant Registrar (Halls; Head of Department of Human Resource); Deputy Registrar (Head of Department of Human Resource) before eventually ascended to the noble office as the second Campus Registrar of Mampong Campus of the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED-M)

In October 2022, he was appointed by the Vice-Chancellor to the office of the Campus Registrar.  Mr. Mprah has served on several committees and boards in different capacities, and worked with various departments and directorates under the Registry. Besides, he has mentored several University Administrators, some of whom are now Senior Assistant Registrars. He has attended and facilitated training workshops, authored and presented several memoranda and position papers. He is also a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants (CIAMC), Ghana, and a full member of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management (CIHRM). He is a strong team player, a dynamic university administrator whose experience and altruistic leadership style have helped in promoting the mandate of AAMUSTED-M. Mr. Mprah possesses good leadership and interpersonal skills, analytical skills, and self-confidence.

About the Offices of the Campus Registrar

The Offices are made up of Deputy Registrars, Senior Assistant Registrars, Assistant Registrars, other Professionals, and Senior Staff who handle various Administrative Departments, Sections, Units, Offices, and service Committees and Boards of the Campus to assist the Campus Registrar. The Offices under the Campus Registrar provide a wide range of services for the benefit of students, staff, and the Campus Community. Under his leadership, the Campus Registrar has oversight responsibilities for the following Departments and Campus Directorates:
