BRIEF BIOGRAPHY

I am a Biologist and a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Biological Sciences Education. I hold a PhD and MPhil degrees in Botany and a BSc. (Hons.) degree in Biology from University of Cape Coast. Additionally, I hold a Post-Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education from University of Education, Winneba and a Teacher’s Certificate “A” from Akrokerri College of Education. My research focuses on molecular genetics, nutrition, food security, biodiversity and environmental conservation, crop protection, surface water quality and the role of gender in food security and environmental sustainability. All my research activities are geared toward the Sustainable Development Goals. I currently teach several undergraduate and graduate courses in biology.
