I am an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Environmental Health and Sanitation Education. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Ghana and a Master of Science degree in Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. Additionally, I have professional training in project management, monitoring and evaluation from the Maastricht School of Management in Netherlands. I have substantial teaching experience having been a teaching assistant at the University of Cape Coast and a part-time Lecturer at the Institute of Distance Learning, KNUST.
I served as the foundation Centre Manager of the Regional Water and Environmental Sanitation Centre Kumasi (RWESCK), a World Bank Africa Centre of Excellence at KNUST from 2016 to 2021. Also, from 2012-2016, I was the International Consortium Manager of the Scientists Networked for Outcomes from Water and Sanitation (SNOWS) Consortium, an international capacity-building network with partners from University of East Anglia (UK), London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (UK), University of Copenhagen (Denmark), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana), University of Gezira (Sudan), University of Venda (South Africa), Tshwane University of Technology (South Africa), Mbarara University of Science and Technology (Uganda) and Egerton University (Kenya). In total, my grant portfolio is over Seventeen Million United States Dollars (US$17,000,000.00) having worked on projects funded by the World Bank, Wellcome Trust and the German Ministry of Education and Research. I have organized and facilitated several national and regional stakeholder consultative meetings and workshops in water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH). Currently, a member of the Board of Directors of Vision Fund Ghana, a subsidiary of World Vision International and also the Project Lead for Trash-Innovate, a business start-up that specializes in digital technologies for WASH services.
My research interests are in Water Quality and Modelling, Membrane Technologies for Water Treatment and Environmental Health Protection.

I am interested in Water Quality and Modelling, Membrane Technologies for Water Treatment and Environmental Health Protection. I am interested in supervising students on research areas including but not limited to drinking water quality, water safety planning, water quality modelling, membrane technologies and in institutional arrangement for the management of water, sanitation and hygiene services
