The leadership of the Public Health Studentsโ Association (PHSA) for the 2025/2026 academic year at the University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (USTED), Kumasi, Mampong Campus, has donated teaching and learning materials to the Department of Public Health Education.
The items, valued at nearly GHยข40,000, included a brand-new laptop, a laptop bag, an external hard drive, two projectors, 16 extension boards, 16 HDMI cables, a 27-inch Monitor and 4 VGA converters. The donation is expected to enhance teaching and learning within the Department and further support effective academic delivery.
Presenting the items on behalf of the Association, the President of PHSA, Mr. Emmanuel Kabujah, stated that the student leadership remains committed to complementing the efforts of the Department in providing quality professional training for students.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Department, the Head of Department, Ing. Prof. Isaac Monney, who also doubles as the Patron of the Association, expressed profound appreciation to the leadership of PHSA for what he described as an unprecedented gesture of support. He assured the Association that the items would be put to good use for the benefit of students and encouraged the continuation of such strong collaboration between students and the Department.
