UEW Cooperative Credit Union, Asante Mampong Branch Hosts End-of-Year Staff Engagement and Planning Meeting for 2026

On Saturday, January 10th, the UEW Cooperative Credit Union, Asante Mampong Branch, successfully held its 2026 End-of-Year Staff Engagement and Planning Meeting at E-Hotel, Nsuta. The event brought together management, staff, and mobile bankers in a space designed for reflection, learning, appreciation, and strategic planning as the Union looks ahead to the new year.

The day began with informal Arrival and Interaction, allowing staff to connect before the official start marked by an Opening Prayer. A Welcome Address and Staff Introduction followed, promoting unity and a shared mission among participants.

A major highlight of the event was a presentation by Rev. Kwame Nkrumah Hope, Assistant Secretary to the Board. His insightful and practical session titled “How to Handle Difficult Members Without Losing Your Cool” tackled real-world challenges faced by field staff and mobile bankers. He shared actionable strategies for managing tough situations with professionalism, emotional intelligence, and composure. The talk was engaging and sparked valuable conversations and reflections.

After a Snack Break, attendees participated in Report Reading, which reviewed the branch’s activities and achievements over the past year. Post-lunch, attention turned to the Reading and Discussion of the 2026 Budget, offering clarity on financial plans and goals for the coming year. This led into a discussion about the strategic direction and team responsibilities for 2026 under the topic “The Way Forward.”

Awards and Recognition

A key part of the programme was the Awards Ceremony, recognizing exceptional dedication and performance by staff and mobile bankers. Awards included:

  • Most Members Registered – Ms. Hannah Dumasi Bonsu (90 members)
  • Most Dedicated Staff – Ms. Priscilla Adomah
  • Overall Best in Collection and Comportment – Ms. Esther Nsor

Additionally, citations were presented to all staff and mobile bankers by Rev. Kwame Nkrumah Hope and Branch Manager Mr. Patrick Kuranchie, acknowledging their hard work and contributions to the Union’s growth. To further express appreciation, Rev. Hope also gave out Christmas gifts to all staff and mobile bankers.

The session wrapped up with Any Other Business and a Closing Prayer, marking a successful end to the event.
